The Baytown Meals on Wheels Pickleball Tournament is a new fundraising activity that our Non-Profit Organization is hosting this year. Baytown Meals on Wheels is a 501c3 Non-Profit whose mission is to enable, promote and facilitate independent living to home-bound senior citizens/disabled (60 years or older) by providing a nutritious hot meal Monday through Friday.
All proceeds from the Baytown Meals on Wheels Pickleball Tournament will go toward our Annual Campaign.
You, the Baytown community, have an opportunity to make an enormous difference to several hundred of your Baytown neighbors in need. Additional funds are needed now to cover the cost of food, delivery expenses, and the overall administration of the program.
Your gift will stay local and benefit Baytown-area recipients in need.
- 1st Event will cost $65/pp | 2nd Event will cost +$30
- Example – Player wants to play competitve doubles in the AM time period and also wants to play competitive singles in the PM time period – that would cost $95 (1st event + 2nd event)
- Individuals are welcome to register and will be matched with other single players registered for all doubles flights.

Yes, there will be a waiver available through the registration site that will need to be signed and submitted in order to play in the tournament. Any player that is under the age of 18 will be required to have their adult parent co-sign the waiver.
- Round Robin –> Bracket
- 4 pools – 8 teams per pool, randomly assigned
- Timed games – 25 min – 5 min court turnover+warm-up for next, ~20 min game time
- Play to 11 OR cap at max time (20 min) – whichever comes first.
- Everyone gets 7 games min (>2 hrs. of “game time”)
- Expected total time: 2.5-3 hrs.
- Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each flight

The Baytown Meals on Wheels Pickleball Tournament will have 3 morning flights and 3 afternoon flights. There will be both recreational competitive flights for singles, doubles and 50 and over doubles.
The competitive flights will bracket players with a DUPR 3.5+ rating and above. The recreational flights will be DUPR of up to 3.0.

If you find a partner outside of the tournament entrant list after signing up, they will be able to designate you as their partner when they sign up.
Yes, to request a refund, an email requesting a refund must be sent to btwmow@baytownmow.com on or before March 12th, which is when registration closes.
No, because it’s a round robin / bracket tournament, we’ll need all registrations to be made on or before March 12th so we can set up the pairings / flights.

Players will be allowed to warm up an hour before both AM and PM Flights.
The Tournament will be held this year at the Chamber County Pickleball Courts

Ages 16 and up will be allowed to register and play. All players will be required to sign the tournament waiver and those players that are under the age of 16 will need to have an adult parent co-sign the waiver.
Yes, we will have several food trucks onsite the day of the tournament for all players and guests to purchase. Each of the food truck vendors has agreed to provide a percentage of the proceeds to Baytown Meals on Wheels.
Note: Water will be provided to all players during their tournament play.
Notice: All proceeds from the Baytown Pickleball Tournament go directly to Baytown Meals on Wheels! In case of force majeure including inclement weather that requires cancelling the tournament, Baytown Meals on Wheels appreciates your donation.
